A collection of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics souvenirs hit the shelves at gift stores at the National Museum of Korea and its affiliated Children's Museum, at the National Assembly, at the Sejong Government Complex and at the Gwangju Asia Culture Center, all on April 29.

A collection of souvenirs for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games hit the shelves at select stores on April 29.

Featuring the official Olympic and Paralympic mascots Suhorang the white tiger and Bandabi the Asiatic moon bear, the catalogue of items up for sale include colorful stationery, water bottles and cushions, to name a few. For now, they can be found at gift shops at the National Museum of Korea and its affiliated Children's Museum, at the National Assembly, at the Sejong Government Complex and at the Gwangju Asia Culture Center.

In May, the items will go on sale at department stores, shopping malls, convenience stores, duty-free stores, movie theaters, at the Lotte World amusement park, museums, concert halls and airports, as well as at train stations. Starting in June, they will also be sold at pop-up stores set up at major venues along the route of the Olympic torch relay.

"With less than 280 days to go until the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, more and more people are interested in purchasing Olympic souvenirs," said Director General of Marketing Eom Changwang of the PyeongChang Organizing Committee.

"In the coming months we will be releasing a wider range of products, to be sold at various public venues and through Lotte's numerous distribution and shopping channels. The online store, expected to launch in June, will make it even easier for customers to buy PyeongChang Olympic souvenirs from the comfort of their own homes."
