
An outdoor photo exhibit has displayed
items from the archives of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary
History. The exhibit, entitled "From 1945.8.15 to 1948.8.15," depicts
the three years from liberation in 1945 to the establishment of the new
republic in 1948, and includes election posters from Korea’s first
Constitutional Assembly elections on May 10, 1948, as well as photos of
the 38th parallel and various post-election celebrations.
