After going on hold for three weeks, KBS 2TV’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook prepared a special ‘consolation’ episode as a tribute to the ferry victims.

Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook decided to record an episode without any audience members in order to present music as a way to comfort the citizens’ grieving hearts.

Returning with a solo song in four years, Kim Yun A sang Going Home and A Nocturne, stating that she wrote Going Home to comfort her younger sibling who was going through tough times.

2NE1 also participated, despite having just arrived in Korea after performing overseas. 2NE1’s CL lost her voice during recording and had to rush to the emergency room, but soon returned, determined to sing live on stage. 2NE1 sang Missing You and unplugged version of Come Back Home.

The special ‘consolation’ episode will broadcast on May 9.
