Lee Joong seop.jpg The city of Seogwipo on the south coast of Jeju Island is set to host the first Seogwipo Art Festival in its famed “Lee Joong-seop Street” neighborhood, named after one of the best-known Korean artists.

Starting on May 28 with an opening ceremony at Lee Joong-seop Park, the festival will take place each weekend through June 6. Visitors are invited to experience the unique lifestyle and culture of the Island throughout the festival.

Seogwipo Art Festival will feature a variety of cultural activities, including an art flea market, street artist caricature event and folk music performances, alongside hands-on experience programs such as making pottery and tasting Jeju delicacies. 
Lee joong seop 2.jpg In conjunction with the festival, Seogwipo will launch a new trail course connecting the Lee Joong-seop Museum with other close-by cultural sites, such as the Soam Museum.
