Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has received numerous accolades from the British media for scoring a goal in his fourth straight game.

His team defeated Borussia Dortmund of Germany, 3-0, on Feb. 13 in the first leg of a round of 16 game in the UEFA Champions League at London's Wembley Stadium.

After Tottenham showed sluggish play in the first half with no shot on target, Son scored the game's first goal in the 47th minute to turn the tide in his team's favor. Teammates Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Llorente Torres each added a goal to give the Spurs a convincing victory.

Son’s goal was his 16th of the season and British media were quick to heap praise on the striker.

The U.K. daily Guardian said, "Son was their first scorer and his hard running and intelligent forward play set the tone."

The Independent said, "Son Heung-Min has actually gone beyond decisive, to the verges of world-class. He set Spurs on their way, lifting them to a higher level, by lifting himself for that tidiest of volleys."

The BBC, in an article on the game, praised his performance in a section called "Son shines again -- the stats." Fans were also quoted as saying things like
"Son who has to be one of the most in form players in Europe at present," "Heung Min Son is world class. He would get into any XI in the world. Not one team would turn him away. Not one. What a player," and "Has there ever been a greater Asian footballer than the wonderful Son Heung-Min?"

Tottenham will play Dortmund in the second leg on March 6. The British team is expected to advance to the final eight so long as it does not lose by more than four goals.
